BRIEF HISTORY
The Information Technology and Communications Association of Romania (ATIC) is the first independent non-governmental organization in the IT&C field in Romania. The association, registered in 1990 as the Romanian Software Association, changed its name into ATIC in 1996.
Since its starts ATIC was proud to represent both the business sector and the scientific one of the IT&C field in Romania.
The Information Technology and Communications Association of Romania includes the most important Romanian IT&C companies as full members as well as well-known professionals from universities and research field as individual members. MISSION
The Information Technology and Communications Association of Romania organizes and promotes the information exchange, collaboration and cooperation between its members, establishing as a fundamental principle the support of science practice in this field, honoring the creativity, respecting the law, in a wide exchange of opinions for the utilization with maximum efficiency and professionalism of the new scientific novelties.
The Information Technology and Communications Association of Romania deems itself as active part of the Romanian civil society, sensing to participate in the name of its members in the elaboration process as well as the public debate of the strategic orientations, lawmaking initiatives, written and audio-visual communication regarding the development of the IT&C field in Romania. |
